Important to know

The TOOLBUS Interface for Corporate Modeler and Enterprise Architect enables the migrat ion of UML Class Models from Sparx Enterprise Architect to Entity Models for Corporate Modeler, and the migration of the following UML models from Sparx Enterprise Architect to UML models for Corporate Modeler, using the UML Tem plates of CM: – UML Class Diag rams (to Class Models, or to Entity Models in Corporate Modeler) – UML Use Case Diagrams – UML Activity Diagrams – UML Statechart Diagrams The TOOLBUS Interface also enables the migration of Entity Models f rom Corporate Modeler to UML Class Models for Enterpris e Architect (bi – directional interface). The UML Diagrams and the contained UML objects are converted to Corporate Modeler with their properties and documentation. The layout of the UML Diagrams from Enterprise Architect is maintained in the Entity – Relatio nship Diagrams and the UML Diagrams in Corporate Modeler, and vice versa.

Conversion Process

In order to migrate UML Models from Enterprise Architect to Corporate Modeler Entity Models or UML Models, the TOOLBUS Interface parses the XMI export file s from Enterprise Architect, and it generated XML import files for Corporate Modeler. In order t o migrate Entity Models from Corporate Modeler to UML Class Models for Enterprise Architect, the Corporate Modeler m odel must be export ed to a XML file. The Entit y Models contained in the XML export file are converted to UML Class Models for Enterprise Architect, which are i mported into a new Package in an Enterprise Architect Project (EAP file or server database) using the API functions.

The TOOLBUS I nterface for Corporate Modeler and Enterprise Architect requires Microsoft Windows 2000/XP /Vista /7. The TOOLBUS Interface supports Corporate Modeler 10. 3 to 20 11. 1, and Sparx Enterprise Architect 6.0 to 9. 3.
