The TOOLBUS Interface for AllFusion ERwin Data Modeler and KEY (formerly also available as IEW, ADW, KEY:Enterprise and COOL:Enterprise ) enables the conversion of Entity Models from COOL:Enterprise to Logical Data Models for AllFusion ERwin. Entities, Relationships, Attributes and Information Types from KEY are mapped to Entities, Relationships, Attributes and Doma ins in AllFusion ERwin. For every Subject Area from KEY a Subject Area is created in AllFusion ERwin, and the diagram layout is maintained.
Conversion Process
Conversion Process: In order to migrate an Entity Model from KEY to AllFusion ERwin it must be exported to text files (AI.EXP, OI.EXP, PI.EXP, TI.EXP), or to a Consolidation file (KEY.CON). The text files, or the Consolidation file are co nverted to a standard interface file called “TOOLBUS”, from which the TOOLBUS programs generate an XML import file for AllFusion ERwin.

Platform: The TOOLBUS Interface for AllFusion ER win and KEY requires Microsoft Windows NT/2000/XP. The interface supports AllFusion ERwin Versions 4.0, 4.1.x and all versions of IEW, ADW, KEY:En terprise and COOL:Enterprise.
