The TOOLBUS Interface for Enterprise Architect and PowerDesigner BPMN enables the migration of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN 2.0) m odels from Sparx Enterprise Architect to BPMN models in PowerDesigner ( BPM files), and vices versa. The layout of the BPMN diagrams from Enterprise Architect is maintained in the BPMN diagrams in PowerDesigner, and vice versa.
Conversion Process
For the migration of BPMN 2.0 models from Enterprise Architect to PowerDesigner, the TOOLBUS interface reads Packages from an Enterprise Architect Project (EAP file or database repository ) using th e API functions, and it generates BPM file s for PowerDesigner. For the migration of BPMN 2.0 models from PowerDesigner to Enterprise Architect, the TOOLBUS interface parses the BPM file s from PowerDesigner, and it and it generates XMI 1.1 import files for Enterprise Architect.
